Holistic Medicine

What is Holistic Healthcare?

A holistic approach to wellness treats the whole being, which means that an individual's body, energy field, emotions, mind and spirit are interrelated and appropriately addressed.  Acupuncture, in particular has had such a success in treating a wide rage of illnesses and continues to gain recognition in the United States.  Consequently, many health insurance plans, hospitals and clinics are including acupuncture into their systems.  It is not a replacement for conventional Western medicine, but rather a complementary modality.

Acupuncture

Acupuncture  is the oldest continually practiced medicine in the world, dating back to more that 3,000 years.  The use of sterile disposable needles are inserted into very specific points along meridians ( energy channels that run throughout the entire body) to correct any imbalance that can cause an illness.

Chinese Herbal Therapy

Chinese Herbal Therapy uses formulations of plants and other natural products to enhance the efficiency of metabolism and circulation, thereby balancing all the vital functions of the body to create a healthy, harmonious internal environment.  Each herbal formula is made specifically for an individual's needs at our on-site herbal pharmacy.

Nutrition and Dietary Therapy

Nutrition and Dietary Therapy incorporates an initial detoxification process to clear the body of toxins and lingering waste products that could be weighing you down.  After the cleanse, we then determine which nutritional supplements and dietary changes are needed to bring your body back to optimum vitality.  Products used for detoxification and nutritional suppport are organic and can be taken with your present medications when taken as directed.
